Privacy Policy

Effective date: May 19, 2026

This policy is tailored to BayBuster's mobile app, eBay seller workflows, AI listing help, diagnostics, Discord support workflows, and public website.

1. Overview

This Privacy Policy explains how BayBuster collects, uses, discloses, and protects information when you use the BayBuster mobile app, BayBuster website, support tools, Discord-related integrations, and related services.

BayBuster is built for eBay sellers and resellers. The product helps sellers research items, create and manage eBay drafts, improve listing details, review pre-publish checks, track sold listings and performance, submit diagnostics, report bugs, request features, and access the BayBuster Discord community.

By using BayBuster, you agree that your information will be handled as described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use BayBuster.

2. Information We Collect

The information we collect depends on how you use BayBuster and which features you choose to enable.

  • Account and contact information: your name, email address, phone number, support messages, contact form submissions, and similar information you provide when contacting BayBuster.
  • eBay connection information: information needed to connect your eBay account, maintain an eBay session, create or manage drafts, review listing data, retrieve sold listing information, and support seller workflow features. This may include eBay account identifiers, authorization tokens, draft identifiers, listing identifiers, listing status, marketplace data, and related metadata.
  • Listing and product workflow information: product research notes, item ideas, photos, titles, categories, condition, quantity, item specifics, descriptions, pricing, shipping, payment, return, fulfillment, pre-publish checklist, and draft details you enter, generate, import, or manage in BayBuster.
  • AI listing help inputs and outputs: information you submit to AI-assisted features, such as product details, draft content, photos or image-derived context, listing goals, generated descriptions, suggested item specifics, selling guidance, and related outputs.
  • Sales and performance information: sold listings, sales, profit, timeline metrics, draft counts, and other seller performance information made available through your use of the app or connected services.
  • Diagnostics and support information: app version, build number, operating system version, device model, sandbox mode, AI access mode, eBay session state, iCloud sync availability, draft count, timestamps, bug descriptions, feature request details, screenshots or attachments you choose to send, and other troubleshooting information.
  • Discord-related information: if you submit a bug report or feature request, BayBuster may forward the report contents and diagnostics to the BayBuster team through Discord webhooks. If you join Discord, your use of Discord is also governed by Discord's own policies.
  • Website and technical information: browser type, device type, pages visited, timestamps, IP address, request metadata, and similar technical information generated when you use baybuster.com or its API endpoints.
  • Payment and subscription information: if BayBuster offers paid plans through Apple, Google, or another payment provider, payment processing may be handled by that provider. BayBuster does not need your full payment card number to operate app-store-managed subscriptions.

3. How We Use Information

  • Provide, operate, maintain, and improve BayBuster.
  • Connect to eBay and support eBay draft, listing, sold listing, and seller workflow features.
  • Generate or improve listing content, item specifics, descriptions, selling guidance, and related AI-assisted outputs.
  • Help you review draft details and catch missing required fields before publishing.
  • Display seller performance, sold listing, sales, profit, and timeline information.
  • Respond to support requests, bug reports, feature requests, and diagnostics submissions.
  • Maintain the Discord invite endpoint used by the mobile app.
  • Protect the security, integrity, and reliability of BayBuster.
  • Debug errors, prevent abuse, monitor service health, and enforce applicable terms.
  • Comply with legal obligations, marketplace requirements, and platform policies.

4. eBay Connection and Marketplace Data

BayBuster uses eBay connection features only to support seller workflow functionality that you choose to use, such as draft creation, draft management, listing checks, sold listing review, and related performance views.

You are responsible for reviewing all listing content, pricing, shipping, return, payment, fulfillment, and item-specific information before publishing to eBay. BayBuster does not guarantee that generated or imported information is complete, accurate, compliant, or suitable for a particular listing.

Your use of eBay through BayBuster may also be governed by eBay's own terms, policies, developer requirements, and privacy notice.

5. AI-Assisted Listing Features

BayBuster may use AI-assisted features to help generate listing descriptions, item specifics, title ideas, selling guidance, and other draft-related content. AI features are intended to support seller productivity, not replace seller review.

When you use AI listing help, the information you provide to that feature may be processed by BayBuster and service providers that help operate the feature. Do not submit sensitive personal information through AI prompts unless it is necessary for the listing workflow.

Review any suggested text before using it in an eBay listing or business decision.

6. Photos, Device Storage, and iCloud

BayBuster workflows may involve product photos and listing images. Depending on the feature, photos and listing data may be stored on your device, synced through iCloud if you enable iCloud features, used to prepare eBay drafts, or submitted to services you choose to use.

BayBuster does not control Apple's iCloud service. If you use iCloud sync, Apple's terms and privacy practices also apply.

7. Discord, Bug Reports, and Feature Requests

BayBuster includes support and community workflows connected to Discord. The mobile app may fetch the current Discord invite from BayBuster's website so the app does not need an update when the invite changes.

If you submit a bug report or feature request, BayBuster may send the information you provide, together with relevant diagnostics, to private Discord channels used by the BayBuster team. These reports may include app version, build number, iOS version, device model, sandbox mode, AI access mode, eBay session state, iCloud sync availability, draft count, timestamps, and your written report.

Do not include passwords, payment card numbers, private messages, or other highly sensitive information in bug reports, feature requests, screenshots, or support messages.

8. How We Share Information

BayBuster does not sell personal information. BayBuster does not use personal information for third-party behavioral advertising.

  • Service providers: we may share information with vendors that help provide hosting, app infrastructure, AI functionality, analytics, diagnostics, support, email, security, and similar services.
  • Marketplace and platform providers: we may share information with eBay, Apple, Google, Discord, iCloud, payment processors, and other services when necessary for features you choose to use.
  • Legal and safety reasons: we may disclose information if we believe it is necessary to comply with law, enforce terms, protect users, prevent abuse, investigate security issues, or protect BayBuster's rights.
  • Business transfers: if BayBuster is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to appropriate protections.

9. Data Retention

We keep information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide BayBuster, support your account or app workflow, troubleshoot issues, maintain security, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements.

Retention periods vary depending on the type of information, the feature involved, whether the data is stored locally on your device or with a third-party service, and whether continued retention is required for security, legal, or operational reasons.

If you disconnect eBay, delete local app data, remove iCloud data, or request deletion from BayBuster, some information may remain where retention is required or permitted by law, platform requirements, security needs, backup systems, or records needed to resolve disputes.

10. Your Choices and Rights

  • You can choose whether to connect or disconnect your eBay account.
  • You can choose whether to submit bug reports, feature requests, diagnostics, screenshots, attachments, or support messages.
  • You can manage app permissions through your device settings.
  • You can manage iCloud behavior through your Apple account and device settings.
  • You can request access, correction, deletion, or a copy of personal information by contacting BayBuster, subject to identity verification and legal limits.
  • Depending on where you live, you may have additional privacy rights under applicable law.

11. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and BayBuster cannot guarantee absolute security.

You are responsible for keeping your device, eBay account, Apple account, Google account, Discord account, and other connected accounts secure.

12. Children

BayBuster is intended for sellers and business-oriented resale workflows. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child provided personal information to BayBuster, contact us so we can review and delete it where appropriate.

13. International Users

BayBuster may be operated from the United States and may use service providers in the United States or other countries. If you use BayBuster from outside the United States, your information may be processed in countries that may have privacy laws different from those in your location.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date and may provide additional notice through the app, website, or other appropriate channels.
